Spectators: 7842 (Terracing: 5883, Seating: 1803, VIP seats: 156) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hakon Kinkeldey got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Christoph Resch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rübeer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Weßling the free kick. A collision led to Rübeer getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Christoph Resch hit a great ball. Uri Diederich recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 13 minutes of play Rübeer's Christoph Resch was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Christoph Resch hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Walther Schulz hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After 21 minutes, Wayne Püst mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rübeer and the Weßling players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wayne Püst kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 24th minute Wayne Püst shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Linus Tadic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rübeer's Ortwin Pechmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Schwaderer in the 25th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Rübeer's zone, Paul Schwaderer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ortwin Pechmann came out of the goal and Paul Schwaderer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matthias W Grubac charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matthias W Grubac the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 31 played minutes Rübeer got a freekick which was hit by Matthias W Grubac. With an all-out effort, Weßling's Ortwin Pechmann threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hakon Kinkeldey, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hakon Kinkeldey got free with Ortwin Pechmann in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ortwin Pechmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hakon Kinkeldey in the 41st minute of play. Ortwin Pechmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hakon Kinkeldey in the 43rd minute of the match. Rübeer's Ortwin Pechmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Rübeer from getting a goal against them. Ortwin Pechmann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hakon Kinkeldey in the 48th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wayne Püst stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, Weßling's Hakon Kinkeldey made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ortwin Pechmann was left in no man's land by his defense there! 54 minutes into the match, Hakon Kinkeldey had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ortwin Pechmann. Rübeer's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hakon Kinkeldey was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Wayne Püst recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wayne Püst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hakon Kinkeldey in the 67th minute of play forced Rübeer's goalkeeper Ortwin Pechmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute Paul Schwaderer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ortwin Pechmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Hakon Kinkeldey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Hakon Kinkeldey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ortwin Pechmann was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Rübeer's Beat Holtmann got a free kick in the 80th minute. If Uri Diederich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ortwin Pechmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hakon Kinkeldey, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Uri Diederich scored 4-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ortwin Pechmann, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Hermann Vorwerk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uri Diederich struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Ortwin Pechmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Weßling. Weßling's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
