Waldemar Pietrowiak was a little too slow when Winfried Mühlhäuser got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 4th minute. The score was now 1-0. Hunteburger SV's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Cem Özdemir scored to the left of an out of position Waldemar Pietrowiak, making the score, 2-0. Hunteburger SV's Waldemar Pietrowiak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Winfried Mühlhäuser in the 10th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeremy Dorn got free with Waldemar Pietrowiak in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cem Özdemir received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Waldemar Pietrowiak came out and tried to block the shot, but Cem Özdemir slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 14th minute. Björn Andersen's late challenge caught a Mittelort's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Björn Andersen helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Mittelort booed when Hunteburger SV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Björn Andersen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moises Abeijon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Hanot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mittelort's Winfried Mühlhäuser got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Hunteburger SV defense, Jeremy Dorn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Waldemar Pietrowiak. The Hunteburger SV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waldemar Pietrowiak should have stopped the shot. Silverio Hanot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Moises Abeijon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Mittelort's Torben Rohe got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 46th minute, Winfried Mühlhäuser reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Waldemar Pietrowiak. The goal made the score 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeremy Dorn was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Jeremy Dorn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Pietrowiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waldemar Pietrowiak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Winfried Mühlhäuser, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Waldemar Pietrowiak came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Mittelort's Cem Özdemir. But to his dismay, Cem Özdemir quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeremy Dorn in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waldemar Pietrowiak saved Hunteburger SV from getting behind. 69 minutes into the match, Hunteburger SV's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremy Dorn came free, but Waldemar Pietrowiak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute Winfried Mühlhäuser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Pietrowiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Winfried Mühlhäuser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldemar Pietrowiak having to interfere. In the 74thth minute of the game Winfried Mühlhäuser who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hunteburger SV's Waldemar Pietrowiak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hunteburger SV's Waldemar Pietrowiak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremy Dorn in the 77th minute of play. Waldemar Pietrowiak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Winfried Mühlhäuser went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. After 83 minutes, Jeremy Dorn made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Hunteburger SV's Waldemar Pietrowiak tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremy Dorn in the 86th minute of play forced Hunteburger SV's goalkeeper Waldemar Pietrowiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Fabian Stöckl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Winfried Mühlhäuser recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nils Aschenberger struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Waldemar Pietrowiak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mittelort. When Mittelort's Jeremy Dorn in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hunteburger SV's goalie prevented a goal.
