TSV Delliehausen's Rafael Heintz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Günter Baltermanns in the 21st minute of play. Malte Keller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarkko Loikala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Malte Keller stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jean-Marc Debut's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Rafael Heintz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Günter Baltermanns in the 33rd minute of the match. Linus Mattes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Malte Keller firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jürgen Behnke got free with Malte Keller in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Jarkko Loikala fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TSV Delliehausen's protests and gave Jarkko Loikala a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd match minute, TSV Delliehausen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarkko Loikala to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lou Pahlmann was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Lou Pahlmann lined in a short shot 0-1 behind a frustrated Rafael Heintz. 57 minutes into the game, TSV Delliehausen's Jean-Marc Debut nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Malte Keller made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After having played for 61 minutes, Jean-Marc Debut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TSV Delliehausen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jean-Marc Debut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lou Pahlmann in the 65th minute of play forced TSV Delliehausen's goalkeeper Rafael Heintz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, TSV Delliehausen's goal looked a bit too open when Günter Baltermanns came free, but Rafael Heintz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 played minutes TSV Delliehausen got a freekick which was hit by Huang Hong Gang. TSV Delliehausen's Rafael Heintz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save TSV Delliehausen from getting a goal against them. Jean-Marc Debut took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Malte Keller. Malte Keller dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovanni Lindenthal in the 77th minute of play forced TSV Delliehausen's goalkeeper Rafael Heintz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, TSV Delliehausen's Rafael Heintz got control of the ball when Günter Baltermanns tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lou Pahlmann got free with Rafael Heintz in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. TSV Delliehausen's Linus Mattes got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, BV Borussia Warstein's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Marc Debut came free, but Malte Keller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Heintz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovanni Lindenthal in the 95th minute of play. TSV Delliehausen's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
