But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ian de Godoi couldn't finish the play. Ismael Pereira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Herbert Neffin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. In the 11th minute, Ian de Godoi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nova Iguaçu MZFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Falcão in the 20th minute of play forced TSV Delliehausen's goalkeeper Jörn Funk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of TSV Delliehausen booed when Nova Iguaçu MZFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luizinho Cordeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th match minute, TSV Delliehausen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Körth to maneuver through the defense. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Ismael Pereira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Wester in the 75th minute of play. Gernot Poggenborg kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. With a little luck, TSV Delliehausen's Jörn Funk got control of the ball when Severino Falcão tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Severino Falcão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Severino Falcão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jörn Funk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ismael Pereira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Körth, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Dito Velloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörn Funk having to interfere. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
