Jacob van der Werff struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Pavlos Konstantakakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balus Treter. If Valerian Podlich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 13 minutes into the match, Hamburg Fighters's goal looked a bit too open when Neşat Beykan came free, but Pavlos Konstantakakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Balus Treter's Neşat Beykan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pavlos Konstantakakis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Neşat Beykan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavlos Konstantakakis having to interfere. With a little luck, Balus Treter's Karsten Zielinski got control of the ball when Gianluca Balla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pavlos Konstantakakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Neşat Beykan, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 22 played minutes Balus Treter got a freekick which was hit by Jacob van der Werff. Szilárd Újváry could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Karsten Zielinski made a huge save. If Neşat Beykan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Szilárd Újváry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karsten Zielinski having to interfere. Hamburg Fighters's Pavlos Konstantakakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacob van der Werff in the 32nd minute of play. Gianluca Balla took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karsten Zielinski. Karsten Zielinski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hamburg Fighters! The referee gave Balus Treter a penalty, 37 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ntinos Karsiotis, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hamburg Fighters's Pavlos Konstantakakis. 2-2. If Neşat Beykan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Neşat Beykan struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacob van der Werff made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Szilárd Újváry notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Balus Treter's Karsten Zielinski. Karsten Zielinski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pavlos Konstantakakis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacob van der Werff in the 61st minute. Szilárd Újváry ran over to the corner to take the kick. 73 minutes into the game, Jacob van der Werff recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pavlos Konstantakakis. Jacob van der Werff showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-3. Leandros Hölsch made in the 77th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gianni Balla. Karsten Zielinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gianluca Balla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the match, Hamburg Fighters's Szilárd Újváry sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karsten Zielinski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Balus Treter defense, Szilárd Újváry kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karsten Zielinski. The Balus Treter fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karsten Zielinski should have stopped the shot. 95 minutes into the match, Hamburg Fighters's goalkeeper Pavlos Konstantakakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacob van der Werff. Hamburg Fighters's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
