After 4 played minutes Imperial Soldiers got a freekick which was hit by Cristobal Colloriti. Imperial Soldiers's Ivan Emmenegger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Imperial Soldiers from getting a goal against them. In the 6th minute, Louis Joho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Frankie Besse's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michael Theiler was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. In the 13th minute, Abraham Rothstein ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Emmenegger was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Abraham Rothstein did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Ivan Emmenegger 17 minutes into the match. Timoteo Bayer hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute of the match Jokim Muscio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Michael Theiler skillfully saved the ball. Ivan Emmenegger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timoteo Bayer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the game, Gregory Spiller was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Imperial Soldiers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Red-Skorpion the free kick. After 22 played minutes Imperial Soldiers got a freekick which was hit by Gregory Spiller. Miroslav Jenzer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ivan Emmenegger came out and tried to block the shot, but Miroslav Jenzer slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 28th minute. After a rather tough play, Imperial Soldiers's Jacques Bouchard got a free kick in the 31st minute. 34 minutes into the match, Imperial Soldiers's goal looked a bit too open when Miroslav Jenzer came free, but Ivan Emmenegger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Miroslav Jenzer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ivan Emmenegger. Miroslav Jenzer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. With an all-out effort, Red-Skorpion's Ivan Emmenegger threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Miroslav Jenzer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jasper Duplanty to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Abraham Rothstein notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Imperial Soldiers's Ivan Emmenegger. Ivan Emmenegger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 55th minute, Frankie Besse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Emmenegger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvester Keller, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 61st minute, Frankie Besse made a precise shot to the right of Michael Theiler. Red-Skorpion's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. Michael Theiler was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Jasper Duplanty capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jasper Duplanty really showed his touch with that goal: 5-3. In the 69th minute, Frankie Besse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, Miroslav Jenzer notched a goal, 6-3, to the right of Imperial Soldiers's Ivan Emmenegger. Ivan Emmenegger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Timoteo Bayer scored 7-3 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Emmenegger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 86 minutes into the game, Red-Skorpion's Miroslav Jenzer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivan Emmenegger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-3. Bernhard Gier hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute of the match Jokim Muscio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Michael Theiler skillfully saved the ball. Ivan Emmenegger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miroslav Jenzer, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the referee ended the match the Red-Skorpion players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
