With a left leg Sylvain Witschard saved FC Totenteich from getting behind. Sylvain Witschard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iosif Vornic, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Fire Devils's Olaf Geiger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 赵桑适 in the 13th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zlatko Ibrahimović in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sylvain Witschard prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 21st minute, Zlatko Ibrahimović ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sylvain Witschard was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 23 minutes into the match, FC Totenteich's goal looked a bit too open when Zlatko Ibrahimović came free, but Sylvain Witschard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sylvain Witschard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zlatko Ibrahimović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Samuel Giger got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sylvain Witschard quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of FC Totenteich booed when Fire Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olof Palm didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute of the match Philippe Stocker shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olaf Geiger showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zlatko Ibrahimović in the 33rd minute of play forced FC Totenteich's goalkeeper Sylvain Witschard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sylvain Witschard stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zlatko Ibrahimović's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Olaf Geiger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 赵桑适 in the 46th minute of the match. The FC Totenteich players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fire Devils were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zlatko Ibrahimović to strike the kick off in the second half. Olaf Geiger was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fire Devils's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
