FC Wil 1900's Lionel Paly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umberto Boileau in the 3rd minute of play. Fire Devils's Nat Rohn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emery Heller in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Fire Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Pirmin Jäggi came free, but Nat Rohn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nat Rohn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pirmin Jäggi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Georg Oberhauser was the one to do the kick off. Fire Devils's Nat Rohn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Fire Devils from getting a goal against them. Téo Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Nat Rohn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Nikita Bolla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Wil 1900's Emilio De Luca shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 55th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nat Rohn but with some difficulty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tory Pryor got free with Nat Rohn in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andreas Furcas hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pirmin Jäggi in the 58th minute of play forced Fire Devils's goalkeeper Nat Rohn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tory Pryor succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 62nd playminute. 64 minutes into the game, Téo Rosa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Nat Rohn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fire Devils's goalkeeper Nat Rohn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Fire Devils booed when FC Wil 1900 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pirmin Jäggi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emery Heller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nat Rohn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tory Pryor's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Tory Pryor in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nat Rohn, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nat Rohn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Téo Rosa went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Romero Zeier's late challenge caught a FC Wil 1900's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romero Zeier helped the player get up and apologised. Romero Zeier was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 85 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the game, one of Fire Devils:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 87 minutes into the game, FC Wil 1900's Emilio De Luca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nat Rohn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. After 94 minutes, Johnny Della Rossa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Wil 1900 and the Fire Devils players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Fire Devils booed when FC Wil 1900 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johnny Della Rossa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Griffin Thalberg got a throw-in 97 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ansgar Troxler.
