In the 10th minute Pavel Ghițescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Hjälm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serenus Kaiser could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Stefan Lyle made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Hagenbuch in the 19th minute of play forced Fc Tuggen's goalkeeper Richard Hjälm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Marc Berthod managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Thierachern's supporters rose to their feet, but Marc Berthod was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Richard Hjälm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Thierachern's Lorenzo Hagenbuch got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Richard Hjälm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Hagenbuch, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Stefan Lyle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Harry Bähr's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Pavel Ghițescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Richard Hjälm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, FC Thierachern's goalkeeper Stefan Lyle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serenus Kaiser. Richard Hjälm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Hagenbuch in the 38th minute of the match. Fc Tuggen's Sebastien Krause got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Patrik Doležel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Richard Hjälm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Hagenbuch, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. FC Thierachern's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Yannick Herzog in the 49th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Fc Tuggen's goalie and right to Pavel Ghițescu. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Fc Tuggen's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lorenzo Hagenbuch to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes FC Thierachern got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Peter. 55 minutes into the match, FC Thierachern's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Bähr came free, but Stefan Lyle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pavel Ghițescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Richard Hjälm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pavel Ghițescu hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Bähr in the 64th minute of play forced FC Thierachern's goalkeeper Stefan Lyle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lorenzo Hagenbuch had several of the Fc Tuggen's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 67 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Richard Hjälm as he didn't even see the shot coming. Serenus Kaiser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of FC Thierachern booed when Fc Tuggen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastien Krause didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had been going on for 100 minutes, FC Thierachern's Lorenzo Hagenbuch got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Richard Hjälm.
