Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Geoffry Niewens started the match with the kick off. Geoffry Niewens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Basiel Verschelde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bad Beat United's Frits Renso in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KFC Forges's goalie prevented a goal. Georges-Philippe Degens made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Benedict Roeckeloes sent off a good shot on target. Martial De Wortelaer's late challenge caught a KFC Forges's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martial De Wortelaer helped the player get up and apologised. Martial De Wortelaer kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Bad Beat United's Geoffry Niewens nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Basiel Verschelde made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Gino Smekens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benedict Roeckeloes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Georges-Philippe Degens made a huge save. In the 30th minute Gino Smekens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georges-Philippe Degens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Gino Smekens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gino Smekens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Martial De Wortelaer kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Benedict Roeckeloes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Georges-Philippe Degens. Bad Beat United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedict Roeckeloes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind KFC Forges's goalkeeper Basiel Verschelde, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Frits Renso scored 1-2 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Basiel Verschelde, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Frits Renso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bad Beat United's Frits Renso got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pierre-Alexandre Van Haerschot blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Basiel Verschelde having to make a save. Frits Renso struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Basiel Verschelde didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bad Beat United. Gino Smekens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georges-Philippe Degens having to interfere. Georges-Philippe Degens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gino Smekens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gino Smekens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Georges-Philippe Degens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Georges-Philippe Degens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kim Meynen in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 96th play minute Frits Renso came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Basiel Verschelde. 1-3.
