Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gino Smekens started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4thth minute of the game Jeoffrey Van Den Abeele who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KFC Forges's Basiel Verschelde was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The F.C. Zegelsem fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when F.C. Zegelsem's Levi Terwenhout looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Levi Terwenhout had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Phillipe Van der Poorten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gino Smekens in the 17th minute of play. A collision led to F.C. Zegelsem getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Peter Justens hit a great ball. Gino Smekens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Phillipe Van der Poorten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the game, Rafael Van Deinze was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KFC Forges's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C. Zegelsem the free kick. The supporters of F.C. Zegelsem booed when KFC Forges was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Van Deinze didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronny Ketelers took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Basiel Verschelde. KFC Forges's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. KFC Forges's Basiel Verschelde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeoffrey Van Den Abeele in the 27th minute of play. Jeoffrey Van Den Abeele took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Basiel Verschelde. Basiel Verschelde dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. F.C. Zegelsem's Levi Terwenhout got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Levi Terwenhout fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basiel Verschelde having to interfere. Jeoffrey Van Den Abeele might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Basiel Verschelde. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jeoffrey Van Den Abeele ran back to his position shaking his head. 43 minutes into the match, KFC Forges's goal looked a bit too open when Levi Terwenhout came free, but Basiel Verschelde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee gave F.C. Zegelsem a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ronny Ketelers, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of KFC Forges's Basiel Verschelde. 0-3.

Levi Terwenhout sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robbie Smedts kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as F.C. Zegelsem's Jeoffrey Van Den Abeele slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Basiel Verschelde. That made the score 0-4 after 63 minutes of play. In the 68th minute Gino Smekens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phillipe Van der Poorten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Gino Smekens had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Phillipe Van der Poorten. F.C. Zegelsem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gino Smekens was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. If Levi Terwenhout had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, KFC Forges's Jan-Joost Temmerman got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute, Kim Meynen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeoffrey Van Den Abeele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeoffrey Van Den Abeele in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basiel Verschelde prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 87th minute Jeoffrey Van Den Abeele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basiel Verschelde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Levi Terwenhout got free with Basiel Verschelde in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 92 minutes of play KFC Forges's Rafael Van Deinze was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of F.C. Zegelsem booed when KFC Forges was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Van Deinze didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basiel Verschelde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeoffrey Van Den Abeele in the 94th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeoffrey Van Den Abeele in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basiel Verschelde prevented the ball from getting in the gole. F.C. Zegelsem played a much better game than KFC Forges and deserved their victory. The KFC Forges players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
