In the 3rd match minute, F.C. Zegelsem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bavo Rutgeerts to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bavo Rutgeerts in the 7th minute of play forced Wipelgem's goalkeeper Nicolaas Denturck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Levi Terwenhout had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolaas Denturck didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when F.C. Zegelsem's Jeoffrey Van Den Abeele shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. 24 minutes into the match, Wipelgem's goal looked a bit too open when Levi Terwenhout came free, but Nicolaas Denturck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Phillipe Van der Poorten was a little too slow when Rajmond Winnepennincx got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 1-1. Nicolaas Denturck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Levi Terwenhout in the 34th minute of the match. Rajmond Winnepennincx recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Levi Terwenhout's late challenge caught a Wipelgem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Levi Terwenhout helped the player get up and apologised. Levi Terwenhout hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Levi Terwenhout fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolaas Denturck having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rajmond Winnepennincx was the one to do the kick off. If Levi Terwenhout had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Levi Terwenhout got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yelle Vissenaeken in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Phillipe Van der Poorten prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Harry Lissens fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C. Zegelsem's protests and gave Harry Lissens a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Wipelgem booed when F.C. Zegelsem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry Lissens didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Rajmond Winnepennincx put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Phillipe Van der Poorten. If Levi Terwenhout had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Levi Terwenhout managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. Zegelsem's supporters rose to their feet, but Levi Terwenhout was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolaas Denturck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeoffrey Van Den Abeele received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nicolaas Denturck came out and tried to block the shot, but Jeoffrey Van Den Abeele slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 84th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Wipelgem fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! When the final whistle sounded F.C. Zegelsem left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Wipelgem.
