The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Wipelgem. Nicolaas Denturck had in the 6thth minute some difficulties stopping William Vos's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 6 minutes into the game, William Vos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Nicolaas Denturck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rajmond Winnepennincx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Georges-Philippe Degens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frits Renso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolaas Denturck having to interfere. Yelle Vissenaeken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Georges-Philippe Degens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Steffen Vuerinckx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Rajmond Winnepennincx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geoffry Niewens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Nicolaas Denturck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wipelgem's goalkeeper Nicolaas Denturck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Georges-Philippe Degens was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rajmond Winnepennincx showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 37 minute of play. Geoffry Niewens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicolaas Denturck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frits Renso, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Wipelgem's Rajmond Winnepennincx ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Georges-Philippe Degens. Georges-Philippe Degens yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

56 minutes into the game, Yelle Vissenaeken cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Georges-Philippe Degens was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Georges-Philippe Degens came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Wipelgem's Yelle Vissenaeken. But to his dismay, Yelle Vissenaeken quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Georges-Philippe Degens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rajmond Winnepennincx in the 66th minute of play. Frits Renso's late challenge caught a Wipelgem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frits Renso helped the player get up and apologised. William Vos hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Georges-Philippe Degens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rajmond Winnepennincx in the 81st minute of play. Rajmond Winnepennincx struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Georges-Philippe Degens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wipelgem. Frits Renso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frits Renso was extremely unlucky when he, in the 88th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Wipelgem were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
