The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the match, Ad Fundum's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Colebinders came free, but Jasper De Mijer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arsene Sielens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Johannes Huvenaerts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SK Oteppe's Tibau Neys got a free kick in the 11th minute. Johannes Huvenaerts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsene Sielens in the 14th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Ivan Colebinders hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 20 minutes, Fred Thielemans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ad Fundum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fred Thielemans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd minute Ivan Colebinders shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jasper De Mijer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Arsene Sielens fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Fred Thielemans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, SK Oteppe's Tibau Neys got a free kick in the 26th minute. Jasper De Mijer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Colebinders, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Balthazar Weygaers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jasper De Mijer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claus Van Acker in the 33rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Ad Fundum defense, Ivan Colebinders kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jasper De Mijer. The Ad Fundum fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jasper De Mijer should have stopped the shot. After 37 played minutes SK Oteppe got a freekick which was hit by Tibau Neys. Geoffrey Poelmans hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. SK Oteppe's Christian Rummens couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ad Fundum. In the 44th minute, Geoffrey Poelmans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, SK Oteppe's Christian Rummens tried to score from far away in the 45th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The Ad Fundum players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SK Oteppe were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arsene Sielens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ivan Colebinders received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Jasper De Mijer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jasper De Mijer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claus Van Acker in the 58th minute. Johannes Huvenaerts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsene Sielens in the 59th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the game, Claus Van Acker cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Jasper De Mijer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A hard shot 68 in the game by Claus Van Acker from a close distance when the talented Jasper De Mijer managed to make a qualified save. Ad Fundum's players were relieved. Claus Van Acker succeeded in the game's 71st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. Claus Van Acker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Jasper De Mijer made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claus Van Acker got free with Jasper De Mijer in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jasper De Mijer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claus Van Acker in the 85th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ad Fundum's zone, Ivan Colebinders stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jasper De Mijer came out of the goal and Ivan Colebinders tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute Ivan Colebinders shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jasper De Mijer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Arsene Sielens notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of SK Oteppe's Johannes Huvenaerts. Johannes Huvenaerts was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Geoffrey Poelmans was shown his second yellow card after 97 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Ad Fundum getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Geoffrey Poelmans hit a great ball. SK Oteppe's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
