In the 4th minute Ramon Vrancx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johannes Huvenaerts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johannes Huvenaerts stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wesly Van Cleynenbreugel's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Ramon Vrancx managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Kamping's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramon Vrancx was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johannes Huvenaerts breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vince Van Eyken during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vince Van Eyken hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Kenn Martens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ivan Colebinders went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Claus Van Acker might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kenn Martens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claus Van Acker ran back to his position shaking his head. If Ivan Colebinders had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 31stth minute of the game Ivan Colebinders who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Kamping's Kenn Martens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The attack was good, but when Ivan Colebinders in the 34th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 36 minutes into the game, Ramon Vrancx was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Kamping's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SK Oteppe the free kick. After 36 played minutes FC Kamping got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Vrancx. A hard shot by Francois Uyterhelcht from long distance, 41 minutes into the match, got Kenn Martens's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Claus Van Acker struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Kenn Martens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Oteppe. Claus Van Acker's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 46thth minute, Kenn Martens skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. SK Oteppe's Claus Van Acker got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ivan Colebinders to strike the kick off in the second half. Kenn Martens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Colebinders in the 57th minute of play. Claus Van Acker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tibau Neys charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tibau Neys the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tibau Neys hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute, FC Kamping's Ramon Vrancx ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Johannes Huvenaerts. Johannes Huvenaerts yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. 78 minutes into the game, SK Oteppe's Claus Van Acker nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kenn Martens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. After 88 minutes of play, SK Oteppe's Ivan Colebinders made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kenn Martens was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 94 played minutes, SK Oteppe's Simon Van Calster shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kenn Martens came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SK Oteppe reached it. Ivan Colebinders fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenn Martens having to interfere. There was no doubt that SK Oteppe were the better team. SK Oteppe's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
