The supporters of KFC Nudorp booed when BocaJuniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerard Liboton didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 9 minutes, Luc Van Parijs mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BocaJuniors and the KFC Nudorp players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th minute, Andreas Van Der Meeren made a precise shot to the right of Mathieux Berchmans. BocaJuniors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, KFC Nudorp's goal looked a bit too open when Richmond Swiggers came free, but Aristides Nevada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the KFC Nudorp defense, Richmond Swiggers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aristides Nevada. The KFC Nudorp fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aristides Nevada should have stopped the shot. In the 33rd minute Christiaan Vermeiren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathieux Berchmans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. BocaJuniors's Mathieux Berchmans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christiaan Vermeiren in the 34th minute of play. Richmond Swiggers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Aristides Nevada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, BocaJuniors's Bobby Pannekoek got a free kick in the 38th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Mathieux Berchmans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christiaan Vermeiren, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
