After 94 played minutes Galatasaray SK got a freekick which was hit by Jakob Sas. 96 minutes into the match, Gregory Gielis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benedict Oliviers. Galatasaray SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gregory Gielis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. When the referee ended the match the Sporting Club Anderlecht players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
