In the 18th minute Julian Tonna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathieux Berchmans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to RSC Sint-Katelijne-Waver getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Lenny Vergouwen hit a great ball. After 22 minutes, Bass Van de cauter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RSC Sint-Katelijne-Waver and the BocaJuniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. BocaJuniors made a substitution. Thomas Van Meerbeek replaced Gerard Liboton. Bass Van de cauter kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Edward Van de Put showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tristan Jannes in the 27th minute of the match. Mathieux Berchmans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Tonna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Binjamin Mestdagh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Luc Van Parijs took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edward Van de Put. In the 39th minute, Emile Soetemans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Maurice Feys in the 41st minute really tested Edward Van de Put's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Edward Van de Put stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luc Van Parijs's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ersan Torkal to make the kick off. Edward Van de Put made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luc Van Parijs in the 51st minute of play. Ersan Torkal hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, RSC Sint-Katelijne-Waver's Bass Van de cauter got a free kick in the 56th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bass Van de cauter got free with Mathieux Berchmans in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 96th minute, Julian Tonna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RSC Sint-Katelijne-Waver fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2.
