An unexpectedly hard shot by Jochen Raeijmaeckers in the 13th minute of play forced Kota 1 FC ™'s goalkeeper Frank Leers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charl Ravoet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cedric Van Achteren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Sporting Club Anderlecht's Cedric Van Achteren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Club Anderlecht from getting a goal against them. Charl Ravoet took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cedric Van Achteren. Cedric Van Achteren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Tristan Vanden Berghe took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Cedric Van Achteren to make any attempt to save it. 31 minutes into the game, Tristan Vanden Berghe lined in a short shot 4-1 behind a frustrated Cedric Van Achteren.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tristan Vanden Berghe to strike the kick off in the second half. When Dieter Van Havent fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
