After 2 played minutes Barça got a freekick which was hit by Yannik Meersmans. 3 minutes into the match, Purple Talent's Stef Vlimmens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joeri Verdeyen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Barça's Jakob Sommers got a free kick in the 10th minute. Peter-Jan Hofnagels who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Kristof Van Bael when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mats Spoelbergh hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the match, Yannik Meersmans dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kristof Van Bael, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Purple Talent's Bass Helsens got a free kick in the 30th minute. The long shot by Jakob Sommers in the 32nd minute really tested Kristof Van Bael's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 33 minutes into the game, Peter-Jan Hofnagels lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Kristof Van Bael. After a defensive mix-up in Purple Talent's zone, Peter-Jan Hofnagels stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristof Van Bael came out of the goal and Peter-Jan Hofnagels tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Purple Talent's Kristof Van Bael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Goovaerts in the 39th minute of play. Kristof Van Bael made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Peter-Jan Hofnagels sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Peter-Jan Hofnagels made the kick off in the second half. Gustave Van der Sande kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Yannik Meersmans scored 5-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kristof Van Bael, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Purple Talent's Lander De Ridder got a free kick in the 66th minute. Peter-Jan Hofnagels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristof Van Bael having to interfere. Purple Talent's Kristof Van Bael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yannik Meersmans in the 70th minute of play. After having played for 72 minutes, Yannik Meersmans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barça's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yannik Meersmans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th match minute, Purple Talent was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bass Helsens to maneuver through the defense. Kristof Van Bael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yannik Meersmans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the match, Peter-Jan Hofnagels notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Purple Talent's Kristof Van Bael. Kristof Van Bael was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Purple Talent's Kristof Van Bael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yannik Meersmans in the 83rd minute of play. When Bass Helsens came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Purple Talent fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bass Helsens couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Peter-Jan Hofnagels put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Kristof Van Bael. Kristof Van Bael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter-Jan Hofnagels, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter-Jan Hofnagels in the 93rd minute of play forced Purple Talent's goalkeeper Kristof Van Bael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 minutes, Gustave Van der Sande mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Purple Talent and the Barça players grew even worse after the yellow card.
