A collision led to Olympus FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Hans Windelinckx hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Olympus FC defense, Freddy de Cijser kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bavo Van Dessel. The Olympus FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bavo Van Dessel should have stopped the shot. In the 6th minute, Daniel Reijniers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olympus FC's Bavo Van Dessel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kirk Powderham in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Brakkies New Bastards's Lucio Oto got a free kick in the 9th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Olympus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy de Cijser came free, but Bavo Van Dessel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olympus FC's Bavo Van Dessel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Reijniers in the 20th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Floris Van de Poel got free with Nico Van Meerbek in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nico Van Meerbek didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 22nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. In the 26th minute of the match Brakkies New Bastards got a corner. Olympus FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Reijniers ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nico Van Meerbek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Floris Van de Poel in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Olympus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kirk Powderham came free, but Bavo Van Dessel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute Lucio Oto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bavo Van Dessel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bavo Van Dessel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Freddy de Cijser's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Ernesto Vergílio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

In the 52nd minute, Kirk Powderham reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bavo Van Dessel. The goal made the score 1-3. 55 minutes into the match, Daniel Reijniers had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bavo Van Dessel. Olympus FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Reijniers was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Bavo Van Dessel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kirk Powderham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Brakkies New Bastards's Kirk Powderham dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. After 64 played minutes Brakkies New Bastards got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Vergílio. Bavo Van Dessel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kirk Powderham in the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kirk Powderham in the 69th minute of play forced Olympus FC's goalkeeper Bavo Van Dessel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bavo Van Dessel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy de Cijser in the 75th minute of the match. Freddy de Cijser took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bavo Van Dessel. Bavo Van Dessel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. In the 79th minute Kirk Powderham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bavo Van Dessel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Olympus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy de Cijser came free, but Bavo Van Dessel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Olympus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy de Cijser came free, but Bavo Van Dessel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jeronimo Telesforo fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brakkies New Bastards's protests and gave Jeronimo Telesforo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Olympus FC booed when Brakkies New Bastards was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeronimo Telesforo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bavo Van Dessel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kirk Powderham in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Wayne Hally hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucio Oto kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 93 minutes into the game, Olympus FC's Floris Van de Poel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nico Van Meerbek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-7. The Olympus FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Brakkies New Bastards were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
