The Torpedo Lier fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remie Kint should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludwig Kloots in the 15th minute of play forced Torpedo Lier's goalkeeper Remie Kint to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Wilfredo León had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Ludwig Kloots took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Remie Kint to make any attempt to save it. Remie Kint showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 龚康松 in the 21st minute of the match. In the 21st minute 龚康松 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remie Kint saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torpedo Lier's Remie Kint played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Wiechgers in the 39th minute of play. Wilfredo León blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carel Van de Schrieck having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Torpedo Lier's Ief Van der Perren got a free kick in the 47th minute.

Carel Van de Schrieck was a little too slow when Wilfredo León got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 4-1. Wilfredo León hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Wilfredo León might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carel Van de Schrieck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wilfredo León ran back to his position shaking his head. Carel Van de Schrieck made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Wilfredo León sent off a good shot on target. In the 61st minute, Wilfredo León got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Remie Kint took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludwig Kloots, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the match, Café DE PLOEG's goalkeeper Carel Van de Schrieck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilfredo León. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Café DE PLOEG's goalkeeper Carel Van de Schrieck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 73 played minutes Café DE PLOEG got a freekick which was hit by Brian Verhaghen. With a little luck, Café DE PLOEG's Carel Van de Schrieck got control of the ball when Mitrofan Mitrović tried to sneak it across the goal line.
