Brecht Dheedene got in the 3rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Bastiaan Van Mellart handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Brecht Dheedene sped through Club Brugge KV's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bastiaan Van Mellart. Brend Steenbeeck kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 9th minute Edmond De Ridder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregory Sens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Brecht Dheedene notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Club Brugge KV's Bastiaan Van Mellart. Bastiaan Van Mellart was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Brecht Dheedene might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bastiaan Van Mellart. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brecht Dheedene ran back to his position shaking his head. 21 minutes into the match, Talha Soyyiğit had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bastiaan Van Mellart. Club Brugge KV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Talha Soyyiğit was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The supporters of FC TurQu AsTaLyA booed when Club Brugge KV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robrecht Van Den Brande didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bastiaan Van Mellart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brend Steenbeeck in the 25th minute of play. After 27 minutes Club Brugge KV's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bartolo Lucado who took care of the corner kick. The corner led FC TurQu AsTaLyA's Bartolo Lucado to fire away a dangerous shot which Bastiaan Van Mellart despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience cheered loudly when Bartolo Lucado's long shot in the 27th minute became 4-0 when the ball went to the left of and passed Bastiaan Van Mellart. Brecht Dheedene had several of the Club Brugge KV's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 32 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 5-0 score and a disappointed Bastiaan Van Mellart as he didn't even see the shot coming. Brecht Dheedene's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Bastiaan Van Mellart skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brecht Dheedene was the one to do the kick off. If Talha Soyyiğit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57thth minute of the game Brecht Dheedene who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Brugge KV's Bastiaan Van Mellart was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 63rd minute, Bartolo Lucado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Brecht Dheedene sped through Club Brugge KV's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bastiaan Van Mellart. In the 71st minute, Brecht Dheedene ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bastiaan Van Mellart was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. If Brend Steenbeeck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bastiaan Van Mellart came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by FC TurQu AsTaLyA's Brecht Dheedene. But to his dismay, Brecht Dheedene quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. A collision led to Club Brugge KV getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Edmond De Ridder hit a great ball. Brecht Dheedene took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bastiaan Van Mellart. Bastiaan Van Mellart dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 13-0. After 84th play minutes Brecht Dheedene shot 14-0, a short shot which went by Bastiaan Van Mellart and just under the crossbar into goal. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Brecht Dheedene put it in 15-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bastiaan Van Mellart. Brend Steenbeeck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Bastiaan Van Mellart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bastiaan Van Mellart stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brecht Dheedene's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC TurQu AsTaLyA fully deserved thier win.
