Spectators: 8500 (Terracing: 6375, Seating: 1955, VIP seats: 170) Edwin Koppen started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Edwin Koppen scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rein Bautmans, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 5th match minute, La Selección was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augustijn Custermans to maneuver through the defense. Rein Bautmans made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Edwin Koppen sent off a good shot on target. Edwin Koppen in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rein Bautmans, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Rein Bautmans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Etienne Van Achteren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Etienne Van Achteren took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rein Bautmans. Rein Bautmans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by William Van Landewijck during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th match minute, La Selección was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Van Landewijck to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, La Selección's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Edwin Koppen fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 23 minutes into the game, one of La Selección:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 26th minute, Etienne Van Achteren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rein Bautmans was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Edwin Koppen scored 6-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rein Bautmans, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 32nd minute, Wils FC's Etienne Van Achteren dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 7-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Etienne Van Achteren in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rein Bautmans prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Wils FC fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Wils FC's Edwin Koppen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 10-0.

Etienne Van Achteren scored 11-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rein Bautmans, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the La Selección defense, Edwin Koppen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rein Bautmans. The La Selección fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rein Bautmans should have stopped the shot. After 62 minutes, Franky Snijers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Selección and the Wils FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Franky Snijers hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Edwin Koppen took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rein Bautmans. Rein Bautmans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 13-0. After a defensive mix-up in La Selección's zone, Edwin Koppen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rein Bautmans came out of the goal and Edwin Koppen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edwin Koppen scored 16-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rein Bautmans, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rein Bautmans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edwin Koppen in the 90th minute of play. Rein Bautmans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwin Koppen in the 91st minute of the match. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 17-0 when Edwin Koppen sped through La Selección's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rein Bautmans. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Wils FC had played much better football throughout.
