An unexpectedly hard shot by Marnix Peten in the 3rd minute of play forced KSV Sottegem's goalkeeper Nélson Brites to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KSV Sottegem's Nélson Brites played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mickael Volens in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Ferdinando Imperatore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 7 played minutes, FC LEMUREN's Mickael Volens shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nélson Brites came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC LEMUREN reached it. In the 8th minute Marnix Peten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nélson Brites saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilton Cruz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeremey Van Hallebeeck in the 11th minute. In the 19th minute, Nemesio Rubio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC LEMUREN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 21st minute, Marnix Peten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nélson Brites was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 24th minute Mickael Volens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nélson Brites saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KSV Sottegem's Nélson Brites played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Rubio in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th match minute, FC LEMUREN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Kalak to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Nemesio Rubio put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Nélson Brites. Nélson Brites took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Kalak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KSV Sottegem's Nélson Brites played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Rubio in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, KSV Sottegem's goal looked a bit too open when Marnix Peten came free, but Nélson Brites reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th match minute, KSV Sottegem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinando Imperatore to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute Nemesio Rubio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nélson Brites saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nélson Brites showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marnix Peten, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Nélson Brites showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mickael Volens in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Nemesio Rubio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nélson Brites was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5.

50 minutes into the game, one of KSV Sottegem:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Nélson Brites went to the wrong direction when Mickael Volens was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Jeremey Van Hallebeeck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nélson Brites made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Nemesio Rubio sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as FC LEMUREN's Mickael Volens slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nélson Brites. That made the score 0-6 after 61 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mickael Volens got free with Nélson Brites in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nélson Brites made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nemesio Rubio in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute of the match, Mickael Volens got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nélson Brites was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 72nd minute, Nemesio Rubio made a precise shot to the right of Nélson Brites. KSV Sottegem's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. KSV Sottegem's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Marnix Peten scored to the left of an out of position Nélson Brites, making the score, 0-8. After 83 minutes of play, FC LEMUREN's Nemesio Rubio made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nélson Brites was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, KSV Sottegem's Nélson Brites got control of the ball when Mickael Volens tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Rubio in the 94th minute of play forced KSV Sottegem's goalkeeper Nélson Brites to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC LEMUREN played a much better game than KSV Sottegem and deserved their victory. The KSV Sottegem players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
