Jurgen Goris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremie Reijniers in the 25th minute of play. Taribo West kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Taribo West hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joos Teurfs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grégoire Caamaño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wesselbend's Jurgen Goris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremie Reijniers in the 37th minute of play. Taribo West made in the 41st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Grégoire Caamaño immediately put the ball in play. Jonáš Baroš received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Joos Teurfs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Everardo Huguet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wesselbend's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because North Hill United had won, even though Wesselbend had held more of the ball.
