The audience thought a goal was coming when Dominick Colebrants got free with Lúcio Martins in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 6 minutes into the game, Moises Alonso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jurgen Goris was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lúcio Martins made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Grégoire Caamaño sent off a good shot on target. After 10 minutes FutebolZone's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ken Anthonis who took care of the corner kick. Jurgen Goris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Alonso in the 13th minute of play. When FutebolZone's Moises Alonso, in the 14th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for FutebolZone. Jurgen Goris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Alonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Wesselbend's Grégoire Caamaño sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lúcio Martins narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Everardo Huguet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lúcio Martins was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Lúcio Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everardo Huguet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 minutes FutebolZone's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ken Anthonis who took care of the corner kick. Jurgen Goris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gentil Soares in the 29th minute of the match. Grégoire Caamaños short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Lúcio Martins to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Everardo Huguet was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 33rd minute. Wesselbend's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ken Anthonis in the 35th minute of play forced FutebolZone's goalkeeper Lúcio Martins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Wesselbend booed when FutebolZone was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Alonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute, Wesselbend's Grégoire Caamaño dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Thanks to some nice moves Grégoire Caamaño could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Lúcio Martins however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Grégoire Caamaño got free with Lúcio Martins in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joaquim Raminhos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. FutebolZone's Lúcio Martins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Huguet in the 53rd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, FutebolZone's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Huguet came free, but Lúcio Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 2-1 became the score in the 56th minute when Grégoire Caamaño elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Celso Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Lúcio Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everardo Huguet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Everardo Huguet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wesselbend fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 66th minute Pedro Noronha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jurgen Goris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Pedro Noronha got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jurgen Goris quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Celso Pereira fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FutebolZone's protests and gave Celso Pereira a yellow card for diving instead. Celso Pereira hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Lúcio Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ken Anthonis in the 73rd minute of the match. Lúcio Martins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grégoire Caamaño, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Lúcio Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grégoire Caamaño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the match Joaquim Raminhos climbed in front of goal and pressed up 3-2 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Jurgen Goris. In the 85th minute, Moises Alonso reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jurgen Goris. The goal made the score 3-3. FutebolZone's Bento Porto got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lúcio Martins came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Wesselbend's Grégoire Caamaño. But to his dismay, Grégoire Caamaño quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. Jurgen Goris made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Reinaldo Caeiro sent off a good shot on target.
