Spectators: 9219 (Terracing: 6915, Seating: 2121, VIP seats: 183) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benedicto Atarratze started the match with the kick off. Karl-Michael Almqvist struck a weak shot in the 2nd minute. Mitch Lauwers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Forza Heppenbach. Selebi-Phikwe's Mitch Lauwers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jozef Dauwen in the 6th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Harrie Degryse kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hans-Joachim Amerhauser. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Kellbom in the 14th minute of play forced Selebi-Phikwe's goalkeeper Mitch Lauwers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Selebi-Phikwe booed when Forza Heppenbach was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brent Desmet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benedicto Atarratze in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hans-Joachim Amerhauser, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 24th minute Christian Kellbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mitch Lauwers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Benedicto Atarratze left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Selebi-Phikwe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 31 minutes into the game, Selebi-Phikwe's Benedicto Atarratze nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hans-Joachim Amerhauser made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 34 minutes into the match, Forza Heppenbach's goal looked a bit too open when Abid Bubalo came free, but Hans-Joachim Amerhauser reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benedicto Atarratze got free with Hans-Joachim Amerhauser in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 42 minutes into the match, Selebi-Phikwe's goal looked a bit too open when Sander Tielemans came free, but Mitch Lauwers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Mitch Lauwers was a little too slow when Christian Kellbom got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 3-1. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Forza Heppenbach's goalkeeper Hans-Joachim Amerhauser, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hans-Joachim Amerhauser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abid Bubalo in the 66th minute of the match. Selebi-Phikwe made a substitution. Radan Anatkov replaced Erik Van Buyten. Selebi-Phikwe's Cléberson Neves was substituted for Benedicto Atarratze. Mitch Lauwers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Kellbom in the 75th minute of play. Hans-Joachim Amerhauser came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Selebi-Phikwe's Cléberson Neves. But to his dismay, Cléberson Neves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Mitch Lauwers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Kellbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 84th match minute, Selebi-Phikwe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radan Anatkov to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Forza Heppenbach's Brent Desmet tried to score from far away in the 85th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Karl-Michael Almqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Forza Heppenbach's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Michael Almqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mitch Lauwers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th match minute, Selebi-Phikwe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by I Putu Okbo to maneuver through the defense. Hans-Joachim Amerhauser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cléberson Neves in the 93rd minute of the match. Selebi-Phikwe's Abid Bubalo got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Forza Heppenbach players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Selebi-Phikwe.
