In the 12th minute Dalibor Kaplanović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Cebrian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, FC Smotančeri's goal looked a bit too open when Dalibor Kaplanović came free, but Ismael Cebrian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Mino Suarez made a precise shot to the right of Ismael Cebrian. In the 43rd minute, Petar Svraka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Myles Guy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hajdar Tofkić stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gondor FC™'s Muamer Fahrić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hajdar Tofkić in the 57th minute of play. Ismael Cebrian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Myles Guy in the 60th minute. Muamer Fahrić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hajdar Tofkić in the 61st minute of play. Aca Gvozdić made a great header on Gondor FC™'s corner, it was just that FC Smotančeri's Ismael Cebrian managed to reach the ball for a save. When the match was over Gondor FC™ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Smotančeri throughout the match.
