In the 11thth minute of the game Edinson Cavani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlétic Incles's Angelino Abancens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dinu Pelin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Johnnie Dobson made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dinu Pelin got free with Johnnie Dobson in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. UE Sant Julià's Johnnie Dobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Van Damme in the 16th minute of play. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Johnnie Dobson stood somewhat misplaced when Dinu Pelin came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 38 minute. Ke Rong Zhen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Angelino Abancens. Club Atlétic Incles's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, UE Sant Julià's goalkeeper Johnnie Dobson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dinu Pelin. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
