Spectators: 7419 (Terracing: 5565, Seating: 1706, VIP seats: 148) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Laurențiu Avarvarei started the match with the kick off. With 4 minutes on the clock, Irinel Turcan commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 3rd minute, one of Tepoaia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tepoaia. Tepoaia's Liviu Stănoiu got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ernest Jucan charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernest Jucan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 11 played minutes Tepoaia got a freekick which was hit by Ernest Jucan. Laurențiu Avarvarei succeeded in the game's 13th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Mădălin Moldoveanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tepoaia's supporters rose to their feet, but Mădălin Moldoveanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robert Negulici breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute, Marcu Tomoiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tepoaia's Gigel Codrescu got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcu Tomoiu during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcu Tomoiu hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Liviu Stănoiu in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robert Negulici prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If George Tutuianu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. Tepoaia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luca Trif was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell George Tutuianu to make the kick off. In the 54th match minute, Buhocel Atletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Geambașu to maneuver through the defense. Tepoaia's Luca Trif got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Marcu Tomoiu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 58 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Buhocel Atletic's Marcu Tomoiu got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Buhocel Atletic's goalkeeper Robert Negulici, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. George Tutuianu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Robert Negulici tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 65 minutes, Gigel Codrescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tepoaia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gigel Codrescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. George Tutuianu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robert Negulici showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigel Codrescu in the 70th minute of the match. If George Tutuianu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luca Trif kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After 84 played minutes, Buhocel Atletic's Grigore Barbă shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ernest Bologa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Buhocel Atletic reached it. Buhocel Atletic's Robert Negulici proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Buhocel Atletic from getting a goal against them. George Tutuianu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ernest Bologa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Codruț Vâtcu, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when George Tutuianu got free with Robert Negulici in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Many of Tepoaia's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Tepoaia may have spent more time on the ball, but Buhocel Atletic were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
