Spectators: 7462 (Terracing: 5597, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mugur Ielciu started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Cyrille Huynh managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ciragi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cyrille Huynh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Grigore Lăcătuș breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th minute, Valer Feraru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Leontin Bungeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 16 minutes, Cyrille Huynh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ciragi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cyrille Huynh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cyrille Huynh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cyrille Huynh in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Grigore Lăcătuș, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 23 minutes into the match, Cyrille Huynh dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Grigore Lăcătuș, 1-0. The audience was convinced that Valer Feraru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eric Mihăileanu was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Grigore Lăcătuș made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Cyrille Huynh sent off a good shot on target. If Cyrille Huynh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cyrille Huynh got free with Grigore Lăcătuș in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cyrille Huynh was the one to do the kick off. Leontin Bungeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grigore Lăcătuș having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Ciragi FC's Cyrille Huynh sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Grigore Lăcătuș narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cyrille Huynh in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Grigore Lăcătuș saved Poju from getting behind. Cyrille Huynh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grigore Lăcătuș having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Mugur Ielciu took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Eric Mihăileanu to make any attempt to save it. Leontin Bungeanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Grigore Lăcătuș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute Cyrille Huynh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grigore Lăcătuș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cyrille Huynh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cyrille Huynh struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Grigore Lăcătuș didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ciragi FC. Grigore Lăcătuș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyrille Huynh, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. The audience was convinced that Cyrille Huynh's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Grigore Lăcătuș was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. In the 87th minute, Niculae Dobrițoiu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Grigore Lăcătuș was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Ciragi FC's Eric Mihăileanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugur Ielciu in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Cyrille Huynh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ciragi FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
