Marcel Horodincă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vali Andrițoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandru Lucrețiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tudor Ciulei in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Tudor Ciulei ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexandru Lucrețiu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Eugen Dănălache could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Marcel Horodincă made a huge save. In the 39th play minute Marian Romanescu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marcel Horodincă. 1-1. After 45 minutes, Sandu Buculeasa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the REBCOS and the Sepcile Rosii Cluj-Napoca players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marian Romanescu during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Sepcile Rosii Cluj-Napoca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marian Romanescu to maneuver through the defense.
