Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Brestea's Gheorghe Boerescu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Pavel Neagoe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sabolciu UFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Vasile Avram received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Valentin Dobrea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Brestea's Valentin Dobrea threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gheorghe Boerescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gheorghe Boerescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Dobrea having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sabolciu UFC's Horaţiu Furdui got a free kick in the 17th minute. Emilian Runcu charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emilian Runcu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 18 minutes into the game, one of Sabolciu UFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Niculae Bodnar placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After 24 played minutes Sabolciu UFC got a freekick which was hit by Dacian Bălțăteanu. In the 33rd minute, Dan Gheție got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Nistor Hrib managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sabolciu UFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nistor Hrib was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iacob Răduța breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute, Rareș Zbughină got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iacob Răduța showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nistor Hrib, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
In the 52nd match minute, Sabolciu UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rareș Zbughină to maneuver through the defense. After 52 minutes, Stelian Ungureanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sabolciu UFC and the Brestea players grew even worse after the yellow card. 58 minutes into the game, Martin Moiș cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Valentin Dobrea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iustin Opriș during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Brestea! The supporters of Sabolciu UFC booed when Brestea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iustin Opriș didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nistor Hrib had several of the Brestea's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 73 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-5 score and a disappointed Iacob Răduța as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 79th minute, Nistor Hrib ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iacob Răduța was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. Horaţiu Furdui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Brestea's Vasile Avram got a free kick in the 98th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sabolciu UFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
