Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dragoş Arseanu made the kick off and thus started the match. Vintilă Hrib's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nicolae Petrin firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, Zgaroesti's Mădălin Zmărăndescu got a free kick in the 6th minute. Vintilă Hrib's late challenge caught a Zgaroesti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vintilă Hrib helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th minute, Vintilă Hrib hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute, Edgar Praporgescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iustin Săvoiu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Sumita's zone, Pavel Smarandache stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iustin Săvoiu came out of the goal and Pavel Smarandache tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marius Udup fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolae Petrin having to interfere. Iustin Săvoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurențiu Patrichi, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Nicolae Petrin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dragoş Arseanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dragoş Arseanu in the 31st minute of play forced Zgaroesti's goalkeeper Nicolae Petrin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Sumita's goal looked a bit too open when Laurențiu Patrichi came free, but Iustin Săvoiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horia Bușcu charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Horia Bușcu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 36 played minutes Zgaroesti got a freekick which was hit by Horia Bușcu. Edgar Praporgescu scored 0-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iustin Săvoiu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 42 played minutes Zgaroesti got a freekick which was hit by Pavel Smarandache. Sumita's Iustin Săvoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurențiu Patrichi in the 46th minute of play. Dragoş Arseanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Nicolae Petrin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Zgaroesti were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

57 minutes into the match, Zgaroesti's goal looked a bit too open when Iacob Alb came free, but Nicolae Petrin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 58 minutes, Iacob Alb mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sumita and the Zgaroesti players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sumita getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Iacob Alb hit a great ball. Dragoş Arseanu kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Marius Udup recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgar Praporgescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iustin Săvoiu having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sumita's zone, Pavel Smarandache stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iustin Săvoiu came out of the goal and Pavel Smarandache tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Zgaroesti's Iustin Săvoiu threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pavel Smarandache, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Laurențiu Patrichi came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Zgaroesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laurențiu Patrichi couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute, Iacob Alb got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgar Praporgescu scored 0-3 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iustin Săvoiu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Laurențiu Patrichi came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Zgaroesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laurențiu Patrichi couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Zgaroesti left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sumita.
