Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Manole Dumitrache got the match started through his kick off. Nicolae Petrin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manole Dumitrache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horea Socoriceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavel Smarandache, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. When Pavel Smarandache came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Zgaroesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pavel Smarandache couldn't finish the play. Braseu's Horea Socoriceanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Braseu from getting a goal against them. When Manole Dumitrache came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Braseu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manole Dumitrache couldn't finish the play. In the 28th minute, Manole Dumitrache made a precise shot to the right of Nicolae Petrin. Zgaroesti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Zgaroesti's Nicolae Petrin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristide Poplăcan in the 31st minute of play. Viorel Hurmuzache came free with the goalkeeper in the 34th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Horea Socoriceanu could save by the left post. 36 minutes into the match, Manole Dumitrache had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicolae Petrin. Zgaroesti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manole Dumitrache was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 41st minute Ilie Zdrelea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horea Socoriceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgar Praporgescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Zgaroesti players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Braseu were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgar Praporgescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manole Dumitrache got free with Nicolae Petrin in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pavel Smarandache scored 1-2 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Horea Socoriceanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 60 minutes into the match, Zgaroesti's Edgar Praporgescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Horea Socoriceanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nicolae Petrin made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Manole Dumitrache sent off a good shot on target. 66 minutes into the match, Tiberiu Lepuș dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nicolae Petrin, 1-3. Zgaroesti's Nicolae Petrin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manole Dumitrache in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute of the match Braseu got a corner. Zgaroesti's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Manole Dumitrache ran over to the corner to take the kick. Horea Socoriceanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgar Praporgescu's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Zgaroesti's goal looked a bit too open when Tiberiu Lepuș came free, but Nicolae Petrin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pavel Smarandache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Horea Socoriceanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Edgar Praporgescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manole Dumitrache could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Nicolae Petrin made a huge save. In the 88th match minute, Zgaroesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mădălin Zmărăndescu to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the game, Zgaroesti's Pavel Smarandache nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Horea Socoriceanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
