In the 9th minute, Victor Tunaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Richard Morris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Richard Morris cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. In the 23rd minute, Victor Tunaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute Richard Morris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vlad Ştefănoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mugur Avacariței kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, Rebel Division's Josef Björnsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vlad Ştefănoiu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The Batcari fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vlad Ştefănoiu should have stopped the shot. In the 44th match minute, Rebel Division was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Tunaru to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ioan Stolniceanu to strike the kick off in the second half. Mugur Avacariței charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Batcari booed when Rebel Division was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vlad Ştefănoiu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
