Robert Negrilă charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robert Negrilă the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The long shot by Sebastian Fărcașu in the 5th minute really tested Petruț Pipirig's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ioan Stolniceanus short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Petruț Pipirig to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Avintu AC booed when Batcari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornel Hrean didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 12 minutes, Gavril Beca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Avintu AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gavril Beca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Avintu AC's Constantin Stroie got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Avintu AC's Petruț Pipirig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ioan Stolniceanu in the 21st minute of play. Vlad Ştefănoiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantin Stroie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ioan Stolniceanu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Petruț Pipirig skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Petruț Pipirig didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Batcari's Ioan Stolniceanu shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Ioan Stolniceanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Constantin Stroie couldn't finish the play. If Constantin Stroie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Batcari's Vlad Ştefănoiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Batcari from getting a goal against them. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, Cazimir Basarab had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vlad Ştefănoiu. Batcari's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cazimir Basarab was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. When Batcari's Ioan Stolniceanu in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Avintu AC's goalie prevented a goal. 84 minutes into the match, Constantin Stroie dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vlad Ştefănoiu, 3-2. Petruț Pipirig came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Batcari's Ioan Stolniceanu. But to his dismay, Ioan Stolniceanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. In the 93rd minute, Avintu AC's Ştefan Zăgănescu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vlad Ştefănoiu. Vlad Ştefănoiu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-3. For all the effort they put into the match, the Avintu AC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Batcari.
