In the 6th minute, Gabriel Gănescu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ernest Drogoreanu. The goal made the score 1-0. If Gabriel Gănescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aristide Constantiniu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alin Baniu's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. The UFC Sarlotenburg fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when UFC Sarlotenburg's Alin Baniu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 30th minute Lucian Zafiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristide Constantiniu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Mihaesti's Aristide Constantiniu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolae Măgureanu in the 30th minute of play. Maxim Magheran hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maxim Magheran during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cristian Curuțiu kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Alin Baniu made the kick off in the second half. Aristide Constantiniu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alin Baniu in the 51st minute of the match. Nicolae Măgureanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Aristide Constantiniu made a huge save. After 62 minutes of play, UFC Sarlotenburg's Lucian Zafiu made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aristide Constantiniu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 65 minutes, Nicolae Măgureanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UFC Sarlotenburg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolae Măgureanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel Gănescu in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernest Drogoreanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the UFC Sarlotenburg defense, Gabriel Gănescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernest Drogoreanu. The UFC Sarlotenburg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernest Drogoreanu should have stopped the shot. 85 minutes into the match, FC Mihaesti's Cristian Curuțiu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ernest Drogoreanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to FC Mihaesti getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Fabian Josan hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, UFC Sarlotenburg's Robin Malmgren ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aristide Constantiniu. Aristide Constantiniu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched UFC Sarlotenburg eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
