In the 4th minute, Amedeo Palone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristoforo Morini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgar Mirciu hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute Manuel Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo Morini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 12 minutes, Gigi Iovanovici managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CF Gloria Sieu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gigi Iovanovici was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Esteve Vidal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emil Mititelu in the 16th minute. An unexpected shot in the 18th minute by Emil Mititelu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some careless play in the Cimpina AS defense, Hugon Wierzcholek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esteve Vidal. The Cimpina AS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esteve Vidal should have stopped the shot. In the 23rd minute of the game, Bernard Bockelund landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Nicu Bulă's late challenge caught a Cimpina AS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicu Bulă helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to CF Gloria Sieu getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Nicu Bulă hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the game, Teodor Gheorghiță cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Cristoforo Morini was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lucrețiu Capătă took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esteve Vidal. Esteve Vidal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Emil Mititelu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Esteve Vidal came out and tried to block the shot, but Emil Mititelu slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 39th minute. After 42 played minutes Cimpina AS got a freekick which was hit by Valeriu Jucu. Esteve Vidal was a little too slow when Hugon Wierzcholek got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 4-1. Emil Mititelu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Vidal having to interfere.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hugon Wierzcholek was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Manuel Marques took a quick shot and it went in 4-2 without a chance for Cristoforo Morini to make any attempt to save it. Teodor Gheorghiță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, CF Gloria Sieu's Cristoforo Morini got control of the ball when Manuel Marques tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 67 played minutes Cimpina AS got a freekick which was hit by Aron Muntean. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Hugon Wierzcholek managed to get in a good position for a shot. CF Gloria Sieu's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugon Wierzcholek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteve Vidal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of CF Gloria Sieu booed when Cimpina AS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Cimpina AS getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Amedeo Palone hit a great ball. With a little luck, CF Gloria Sieu's Cristoforo Morini got control of the ball when Manuel Marques tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 83rd minute Cornel Ştefulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo Morini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Matei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Esteve Vidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esteve Vidal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugon Wierzcholek, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Amedeo Palone notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of CF Gloria Sieu's Cristoforo Morini. Cristoforo Morini was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cimpina AS's Esteve Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Mititelu in the 94th minute of play. In the 94th minute Emil Mititelu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristoforo Morini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Marques in the 97th minute. CF Gloria Sieu's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
