Spectators: 8067 (Terracing: 6052, Seating: 1855, VIP seats: 160) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Stefans Krisāns took the kick off in the first half of the match. Frīdis Bubinduss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gvido Klinovičs in the 3rd minute of the match. With a little luck, FC RedTube's Frīdis Bubinduss got control of the ball when Dailis Ekšteins tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valda's Stefans Krisāns got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in FC RedTube's zone, Dailis Ekšteins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frīdis Bubinduss came out of the goal and Dailis Ekšteins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aksels Hercs hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Valda's zone, Ēriks Novickovs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artis Modernieks came out of the goal and Ēriks Novickovs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raitis Peterhofs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dailis Ekšteins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frīdis Bubinduss having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Valda's Dailis Ekšteins sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frīdis Bubinduss narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Valda's Dailis Ekšteins got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dailis Ekšteins was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 38th minute. Valda's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Stefans Krisāns received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Frīdis Bubinduss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Dailis Ekšteins came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Valda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dailis Ekšteins couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Valda booed when FC RedTube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Verners Zelcāns didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ēriks Novickovs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Dailis Ekšteins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dailis Ekšteins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Everts Dancotājs kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, FC RedTube's goal looked a bit too open when Stefans Krisāns came free, but Frīdis Bubinduss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stefans Krisāns recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Dailis Ekšteins came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Valda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dailis Ekšteins couldn't finish the play. FC RedTube's Frīdis Bubinduss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefans Krisāns in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Dailis Ekšteins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Stefans Krisāns sped through FC RedTube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Frīdis Bubinduss. If Stefans Krisāns had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FC RedTube getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Everts Dancotājs hit a great ball. Emanuels Kārkliņš, 97 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Valda had played much better football throughout.
