Artis Modernieks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Tumpelis in the 8th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, FC Salizi's Persijs Solders sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Artis Modernieks narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The wind increased when Stefans Krisāns made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Valda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gvido Klinovičs to maneuver through the defense. FC Salizi's Drosmis Jasēvics played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefans Krisāns in the 56th minute of play. Persijs Solders fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artis Modernieks having to interfere. In the 63rd minute of the match Otomārs Sakalausks sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Drosmis Jasēvics skillfully saved the ball. 67 minutes into the match, FC Salizi's goal looked a bit too open when Stefans Krisāns came free, but Drosmis Jasēvics reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 69 minutes, Dailis Ekšteins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dailis Ekšteins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Valda! Stefans Krisāns fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Drosmis Jasēvics having to interfere. A collision led to Valda getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Uvis Dobulis hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the game, Persijs Solders lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Artis Modernieks. Stefans Krisāns fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Drosmis Jasēvics having to interfere. Drosmis Jasēvics showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dailis Ekšteins, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Dailis Ekšteins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Drosmis Jasēvics tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefans Krisāns in the 98th minute of play forced FC Salizi's goalkeeper Drosmis Jasēvics to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Salizi's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
