Girkantas Bikas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The supporters of Aleksotas FK booed when Legionas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustão Paraíba didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Darijus Rudauskas managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 61st minute, Paulius Margelis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aleksotas FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Paulius Margelis's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Girkantas Bikas firmly grabbed it by the left post. Vilmantas Norutis made in the 76th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Legionas's Aldas Matusevičius. 78 minutes into the match, Legionas's goalkeeper Girkantas Bikas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulius Margelis. The crowd rose to their feet as Hugo Haedelt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Girkantas Bikas. That made the score 0-10 in the 82 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dinaras Dackus got free with Girkantas Bikas in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eurelijus Glodenis took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Girkantas Bikas. Girkantas Bikas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. After 95 played minutes Legionas got a freekick which was hit by Faustão Paraíba. Girkantas Bikas was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Darijus Rudauskas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Darijus Rudauskas really showed his touch with that goal: 0-12.
