Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Margiris Nekrošius ran back to his position shaking his head. 11 minutes into the game, Kandys's Petras Janauskas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juozapas Daktaras made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Juozapas Daktaras made an important save on a dangerous shot by Petras Janauskas in the 20th minute. With a little luck, FC Gayzunay 66's Juozapas Daktaras got control of the ball when Petras Janauskas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lenny Hoarau's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juozapas Daktaras read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Lenny Hoarau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kandys's supporters rose to their feet, but Lenny Hoarau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juozapas Daktaras breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lenny Hoarau received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Juozapas Daktaras came out and tried to block the shot, but Lenny Hoarau slotted it home off the left post making it 7-0 in the 39th minute. In the 42nd minute, Petras Janauskas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juozapas Daktaras was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. 45 minutes into the game, Kandys's Mindaugas Melekša nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juozapas Daktaras made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 9-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lenny Hoarau was the one to do the kick off. Juozapas Daktaras stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lenny Hoarau's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. 59 minutes into the match, Margiris Nekrošius had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juozapas Daktaras. FC Gayzunay 66's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Margiris Nekrošius was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Petras Janauskas managed to get in a good position for a shot. When Rimvydas Bunga came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the FC Gayzunay 66 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rimvydas Bunga couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lenny Hoarau in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juozapas Daktaras saved FC Gayzunay 66 from getting behind. In the 71stth minute of the game Lenny Hoarau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Gayzunay 66's Juozapas Daktaras was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the FC Gayzunay 66 defense, Petras Janauskas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juozapas Daktaras. The FC Gayzunay 66 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juozapas Daktaras should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in FC Gayzunay 66's zone, Lenny Hoarau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juozapas Daktaras came out of the goal and Lenny Hoarau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lenny Hoarau in the 82nd minute of play forced FC Gayzunay 66's goalkeeper Juozapas Daktaras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kandys's Vydas Matonis was substituted for Mindaugas Melekša. Kandys's Alfredas Nenortas was substituted for Margiris Nekrošius. Oskaras Daknevičius hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute Redas Elijošius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juozapas Daktaras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Kandys's Petras Janauskas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juozapas Daktaras made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 13-0. 92 minutes into the match, Petras Janauskas notched a goal, 14-0, to the right of FC Gayzunay 66's Juozapas Daktaras. Juozapas Daktaras was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Kandys were the better team. Kandys's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
