In the 14th minute, Kandys's Lenny Hoarau ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Amadeu Maranhense. Amadeu Maranhense yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Petras Janauskas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Amadeu Maranhense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Amadeu Maranhense successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Amadeu Maranhense was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Mindaugas Melekša capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mindaugas Melekša really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. After 25 played minutes Kandys got a freekick which was hit by Petras Janauskas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Margiris Nekrošius in the 29th minute of play forced AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's goalkeeper Amadeu Maranhense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kandys's Remigijus Žirgulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodriguinho Medeiros in the 32nd minute of play. Amadeu Maranhense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Margiris Nekrošius in the 36th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Kandys's Margiris Nekrošius slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Amadeu Maranhense. That made the score 4-0 after 37 minutes of play. 40 minutes into the match, AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Lenny Hoarau came free, but Amadeu Maranhense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Margiris Nekrošius kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Amadeu Maranhense. That made the score 5-0 in the 41 minute of play. In the 47th minute of the match, Mindaugas Melekša got a very nice opportunity to score, but Amadeu Maranhense was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nildo Mazza to strike the kick off in the second half. Petras Janauskas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 56 minutes into the game, Margiris Nekrošius cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Amadeu Maranhense was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 61 played minutes AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Nildo Mazza. In the 61st match minute, AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Guedes to maneuver through the defense. Amadeu Maranhense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mindaugas Melekša in the 62nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the game, Kandys's Petras Janauskas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amadeu Maranhense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. After some careless play in the AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ defense, Lenny Hoarau kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amadeu Maranhense. The AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amadeu Maranhense should have stopped the shot. Kandys's Vydas Matonis was substituted for Mindaugas Melekša. The audience was convinced that Lenny Hoarau's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amadeu Maranhense was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. When Margiris Nekrošius came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Kandys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Margiris Nekrošius couldn't finish the play. Amadeu Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Margiris Nekrošius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's Amadeu Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Owe Simmelkiær in the 81st minute of play. Kandys's Margiris Nekrošius got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amadeu Maranhense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lenny Hoarau, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Amadeu Maranhense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vydas Matonis went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's Amadeu Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladas Anusevičius in the 93rd minute of play. The supporters of Kandys booed when AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodriguinho Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball.
