The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Highway to Hell's Panos Papadimos got control of the ball when Zlatan Messi tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Highway to Hell getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Fragiskos Koboropoulos hit a great ball. Highway to Hell's Panos Papadimos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Highway to Hell from getting a goal against them. 17 minutes into the match, Kerkyra FC's Zlatan Messi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Panos Papadimos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Erli Haaland ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Panos Papadimos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Zlatan Messi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kerkyra FC's Giannis Verikios quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Anastasios Velis, made in the 25th minute of the game. Panos Papadimos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sofoklis Siamantouras, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Highway to Hell's goalkeeper Panos Papadimos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Panos Papadimos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zlatan Messi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Kerkyra FC's Panos Papadimos threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sofoklis Siamantouras, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Anastasios Velis made in the 38th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Stratos Theotokatos. Zlatan Messi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Panos Papadimos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 41 minutes of play, Kerkyra FC's Zlatan Messi made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Panos Papadimos was left in no man's land by his defense there! 45 minutes into the game, Zlatan Messi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Panos Papadimos. Zlatan Messi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zlatan Messi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sofoklis Siamantouras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panos Papadimos having to interfere. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zlatan Messi in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Panos Papadimos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Kerkyra FC's Giannis Verikios got a free kick in the 70th minute.
