Zinon Papadakos's late challenge caught a Kerkyra FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zinon Papadakos helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Kerkyra FC booed when Vakoufi Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zinon Papadakos didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-2.

The Kerkyra FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-2. There was no doubt that Kerkyra FC were the better team. Kerkyra FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
