Panos Giataganis charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Panos Giataganis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Panos Giataganis hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, VARDA F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Markos Kopsidas came free, but Themis Papadopetrakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stratos Vogiatzis came out of the goal and Luisão Fernandes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lembit Lutsar scored 1-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Themis Papadopetrakis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 27 minutes, Theodosis Labrakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VARDA F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Theodosis Labrakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. VARDA F.C.'s Themis Papadopetrakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lembit Lutsar in the 30th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in VARDA F.C.'s zone, Lembit Lutsar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Themis Papadopetrakis came out of the goal and Lembit Lutsar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Luisão Fernandes could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Stratos Vogiatzis however easily saved by the left post. 37 minutes into the match, Π.Α.Ο.ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟΥΠΟΛΕΩΣ's goalkeeper Stratos Vogiatzis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luisão Fernandes. Themis Papadopetrakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nasos Tsionas, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Themis Papadopetrakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nasos Tsionas in the 46th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luisão Fernandes made a kick off. If Lembit Lutsar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. VARDA F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Π.Α.Ο.ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟΥΠΟΛΕΩΣ the free kick. Π.Α.Ο.ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟΥΠΟΛΕΩΣ made a substitution. Panagiotis Samiamidis replaced Nasos Tsionas. Konstantinos Galanopoulos helped the player get up and apologised. VARDA F.C. made a substitution. Notis Moustakis replaced Panos Routsis. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Luisão Fernandes put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Stratos Vogiatzis. Lembit Lutsar kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 88thth minute of the game Luisão Fernandes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Π.Α.Ο.ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟΥΠΟΛΕΩΣ's Stratos Vogiatzis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 95th minute, Constantin Cartron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Π.Α.Ο.ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟΥΠΟΛΕΩΣ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for VARDA F.C..
