In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind VARDA F.C.'s goalkeeper Themis Papadopetrakis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 7th minute, Thomas Mavreas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Theodosis Labrakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Stelios Panagiotopoulos made a huge save. Thymios Matsikidis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Themis Papadopetrakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. After a rather tough play, VARDA F.C.'s Placido Evarado got a free kick in the 11th minute. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Thomas Mavreas put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Themis Papadopetrakis. 22 minutes into the game, Iraklis Volonakis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GloRy F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VARDA F.C. the free kick. The supporters of VARDA F.C. booed when GloRy F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iraklis Volonakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Themis Papadopetrakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thymios Matsikidis in the 25th minute of play. Luisão Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. When GloRy F.C.'s Thomas Mavreas in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. GloRy F.C.'s Stelios Panagiotopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theodosis Labrakis in the 39th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Theodosis Labrakis got free with Stelios Panagiotopoulos in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. GloRy F.C.'s Stelios Panagiotopoulos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save GloRy F.C. from getting a goal against them. Stelios Panagiotopoulos stood somewhat misplaced when Luisão Fernandes came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 45 minute.

The wind increased when Luisão Fernandes made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Aldo Serena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stelios Panagiotopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisão Fernandes in the 57th minute of play. Aldo Serena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Stelios Panagiotopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. GloRy F.C.'s Stelios Panagiotopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magnus Ekström in the 70th minute of play. Themis Papadopetrakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Mavreas in the 72nd minute of play. With a little luck, VARDA F.C.'s Themis Papadopetrakis got control of the ball when Demis Vyntra tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to VARDA F.C. getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Placido Evarado hit a great ball. Stelios Panagiotopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theodosis Labrakis in the 78th minute of the match. Stelios Panagiotopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theodosis Labrakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theodosis Labrakis in the 79th minute of play forced GloRy F.C.'s goalkeeper Stelios Panagiotopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the VARDA F.C. players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
