Spectators: 8528 (Terracing: 6397, Seating: 1961, VIP seats: 170) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Yrjänä Esala took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Kalsarit booed when Paiusalmi IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aku Heinikainen didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Milosz Frenzel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th match minute, Paiusalmi IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Betadur to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Paiusalmi IFK's Jimmie Damm got control of the ball when Timo Luhtio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jimmie Damm made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Milosz Frenzel sent off a good shot on target. 21 minutes into the match, Ambrosio Marz notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Paiusalmi IFK's Jimmie Damm. Jimmie Damm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Yrjänä Esala came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Paiusalmi IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yrjänä Esala couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yrjänä Esala in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Igor Manex prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jimmie Damm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elmo Lahtela in the 32nd minute of the match. Paiusalmi IFK's Jimmie Damm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milosz Frenzel in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36th minute Milosz Frenzel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmie Damm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 40th minute, when Kalsarit's Timo Luhtio after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Jimmie Damm in Paiusalmi IFK's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Milosz Frenzel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jimmie Damm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milosz Frenzel, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Jimmie Damm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sulo Voutilainen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute Milosz Frenzel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmie Damm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute Milosz Frenzel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmie Damm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jimmie Damm was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jimmie Damm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Marz in the 72nd minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Timo Luhtio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milosz Frenzel in the 78th minute of play forced Paiusalmi IFK's goalkeeper Jimmie Damm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute Ambrosio Marz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmie Damm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kalsarit's Tero Siltavirta was substituted for Elmo Lahtela. Kalsarit were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Paiusalmi IFK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Timo Luhtio took the corner. Timo Luhtio made a great header on Kalsarit's corner, it was just that Paiusalmi IFK's Jimmie Damm managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 90th minute Aaron Uusitalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmie Damm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sulo Voutilainen hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Paiusalmi IFK's Isko Karalahti got a free kick in the 95th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Kalsarit's Timo Luhtio tried to score from far away in the 96th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that Kalsarit were the better team. Kalsarit's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
